Safety
Make room to breathe. Protect dignity. Meet the immediate need without shame.
Veteran founded · built from lived experience
Driven To Serve is building practical paths from crisis toward safety, stability, purpose, work and independence—starting with veterans and their families.

The mission
DTS is designed around a simple truth: people rebuilding after trauma, addiction, housing loss, disability or justice involvement need more than a referral. They need dignity, trusted relationships and a real next step.
Make room to breathe. Protect dignity. Meet the immediate need without shame.
Build a workable foundation through housing, rest, transportation and trusted support.
Help people notice strengths, test possibilities and find a path that actually fits.
Turn small progress into sustainable work, purpose, community and service to others.
What’s building
The public promise is clear. The protected work is in how the parts connect, how they are tested and how the model grows responsibly.
A guided daily check-in that helps a person name what is real, notice a pattern and choose one honest next step—without pretending an app replaces professional care.
A 28-day reflection and relationship-growth experience built around honesty, respect, small actions and progress over perfection.
Housing support, practical navigation, rest and recovery, transportation and partnerships designed to help people move beyond crisis mode.
Hands-on pathways through automotive work, trades, culinary work, creative skills and community service—built around strengths rather than labels.
In development
A service-dog and second-chance vision inspired by the bond between Michael and Mandy, with responsible partnerships at the center.
An accessible, immersive sound experience exploring how music, space and vibration might support decompression—including people who feel music differently.
DTS Route 66
The proposed Route 66 mission uses the road to meet people where they are, share stories of rebuilding and bring the DTS vision into real communities—not just conference rooms.
Current status: route planning, funding conversations and partner outreach. Stops, dates and activation details remain subject to written approval and available resources.

Driven To Serve Inc. · A founder's reflection
I've lived through anger, joy, addiction, loss, forgiveness, faith, and rebuilding. None of it has to decide who I become tomorrow. This is the story behind Driven To Serve, and the belief that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things together.

I don't need to be the smartest person in the room. I want to be surrounded by people whose knowledge, abilities, and perspectives make us all better.
I've made mistakes. I've hurt people, and I've been hurt. I've also learned that a difficult chapter isn't the end of the story. Recovery gave me a second chance, and service gave that second chance a direction.
I believe in God, and I want to understand faith more deeply. I believe in justice, and I want to keep examining what justice really asks of us. I believe in helping people, but I want to learn how to help without taking away their independence.
That's why I created Driven To Serve. Not to build something that depends entirely on me, but to build a place where people can discover their worth, develop their gifts, and accomplish things I couldn't have imagined on my own.
My education in philosophy and theology is part of that journey. I'm not studying merely to earn a degree or hold a title. I want to deepen my understanding of life, people, responsibility, and my place in the world, so that my work can serve others more thoughtfully.
I'm still learning. I'm still questioning. I'm still becoming. The story isn't over. And I don't intend to stop learning how to write the next chapter.
We're in this together now.
